Hailie Jade, 28, tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Evan McClintock, on May 18, 2024. Among the celebrity guests were Dr. Dre and music executive Jimmy Iovine, but it was 50 Cent who had one of the most heartfelt reactions to the big day.
In an interview with Haute Living, 50 Cent revealed that attending Hailie’s wedding made him reflect on fatherhood. Seeing Hailie walk down the aisle brought up emotions he didn’t expect, and he even found himself tearing up.
“I was having a moment myself over there,” he admitted. “I told Em, ‘You said it was OK to cry, because I’m crying.’ I couldn’t believe it went that fast.”
50 Cent Wishes He Had a Daughter
During the interview, 50 Cent also opened up about something he wishes he had in life—a daughter.
“I wish I had a daughter,” he confessed. “For girls, their dad is the first man they fall in love with. Boys tend to be closer to their moms—I’m a mama’s boy myself.”
Though 50 Cent is a proud father of two sons—Marquise (born in 1990) and Sire (born in 2008)—he couldn’t help but think about the special bond between a father and a daughter.
