In the episode, Lowe traverses the streets of Tokyo, Los Angeles and Springfield with pop singers Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga and Chappell Roan as they belt out their own hits, festive classics and cover songs.

During Lady Gaga’s segment, she shares a poignant clip of her late grandmother, who was a keen rock music lover, singing AC/DC’s Bon Scott-era classic ‘Highway to Hell.’

Lowe then tells Gaga they need to make a stop, and to her apparent astonishment Brian Johnson gets into the driver’s seat.

Gaga and Brian then sing ‘Highway to Hell’ together before Gaga revealed she had a cameo in AC/DC’s ‘Stiff Upper Lip’ video when she was 14 years old.

“You wanna hear something funny? I was in the ‘Stiff Upper Lip’ video,” Gaga told Brian. “I was 17 and I was an extra in the back. I was headbanging and they were, like, ‘Hmmm. Don’t headbang. We want it to be modern.’ And I was, like, ‘No. There’s only one move that I can do.’”

Those near the stage swear it looked like he was speaking to someone who wasn’t there. And as the final note faded, one question rippled through the arena — what made McCartney choose this song, on this night, after all these years?
