Kelly Osbourne has opened up about a surprising chapter from her teenage years, recalling a troubling experience involving one of her late father Ozzy Osbourne’s famous rocker friends.
The 41-year-old shared the story in the new documentary If These Walls Could Rock, which explores the history of the legendary Sunset Marquis hotel in West Hollywood and its connection to generations of rock stars.
For the Osbourne family, the hotel was far more than just a place to stay. Sharon Osbourne recalled how the family would spend summers there while Ozzy was touring in the United States, describing it as somewhere the Black Sabbath legend could relax and feel at home.
Kelly also looked back fondly on spending time at the hotel, saying it was a rare place where her father could be himself without constantly being judged or asked to leave.
However, as Kelly grew older, the hotel also became the backdrop to some much more complicated memories from her teenage years.
In the documentary, she recalled having several of her first experiences there, including her first drink and first kiss. She also revealed that she was introduced to an illegal drug there by one of her father’s well-known friends, although she did not identify the person.
Kelly said she had never told her parents who the individual was because she feared the reaction it would provoke.
The revelation has attracted attention because of the famous names surrounding the Osbourne family’s long history in the rock world. Ozzy was closely connected to some of the biggest musicians of his generation, many of whom passed through the Sunset Marquis during its heyday.
The documentary also highlights just how closely the hotel was intertwined with Ozzy’s life. Sharon remembered her husband wandering through the grounds, meeting other guests and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.
For Kelly, however, those memories now carry a mixture of nostalgia and uncomfortable reflection. The story offers another glimpse into what it was like growing up in one of rock music’s most famous families, where extraordinary experiences could sometimes become part of everyday life.
Ozzy Osbourne died in July 2025 at the age of 76, leaving behind a musical legacy that spans more than five decades. His family has continued to share personal memories of the legendary singer as they navigate life without him.
Kelly’s appearance in If These Walls Could Rock provides another intimate look at the Osbourne family’s past, while the identity of the rocker who was involved in her teenage experience remains a mystery.
