Chris Pratt recently made a fun and memorable appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he surprised fans by showing off his rapping skills and sharing some laugh-out-loud stories about his personal life.
The 45-year-old actor was on the show to promote his new Netflix movie, The Electric State, which is set to release on March 14. During the interview, Pratt opened up about fatherhood, joking that his youngest son, Ford, inherited a “long butt crack,” which makes diaper changes extra tricky. He even shared a funny story from his childhood about his dad’s “plumber’s butt” — explaining how he and his brother used to drop sawdust and nails down their dad’s back for fun!
Things took a nostalgic turn when host Jimmy Kimmel brought up a viral video from 2014 of Pratt rapping Eminem’s verse from “Forgot About Dre.” Pratt revealed that from ages 18 to 20, he lived in a van, smoked weed, and listened to Eminem nonstop — before eventually finding his faith.
“I spent like two years in the van smoking weed, listening to Eminem when I was 18 to 20, before I found Jesus, Jimmy,” said Pratt. “Other kids learned biology at college, and I was learning how to rap.”
The crowd loved it, and the moment reminded fans of just how down-to-earth and entertaining Pratt really is.
