Eric Clapton Claims Surprising Role In Bee Gees’ Iconic Sound In New Documentary!

Eric Clapton appears in a sneak peek from a new Bee Gees movie called How Can You Mend a Broken Heart. This movie comes out on December 12 on HBO Max, and later you can watch it at home on demand or get it on video.

In the clip, the Bee Gees talk about how they started singing in a high, squeaky voice called falsetto, which became their special sound. This happened when they also started making funky music. Two of the Bee Gees, Maurice and Barry Gibb, share how their 1975 song “Fanny (Be Tender With My Love)” and its album, Main Course, changed everything for them and made them super popular.

Eric Clapton then says something cool: “If I helped start that, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done!” He’s proud to have been part of their big moment.

You can see the clip below.

The movie’s director, Frank Marshall, said, “I’ve loved the Bee Gees’ music forever, just like so many people around the world. When I talked to Barry almost three years ago, I learned how creative and funny they are, and how close they were as brothers. That’s what makes them so special.”

The producer, Nigel Sinclair, added, “Barry, Maurice, and Robin Gibb were so talented that people on five continents loved their music for 50 years. Their songs will be remembered forever. It’s exciting to share their story in theaters, where you can feel their world on a big screen. We hope it brings some happiness during tough times.”

This movie is all about celebrating the Bee Gees and how their music still makes people smile today!
