On March 24, 2025, something special happened in London at the Royal Albert Hall. Robert Plant, a famous singer, joined another famous singer, Roger Daltrey, on stage. They sang a song called “Baba O’Riley” by a band called The Who. Other singers like Eddie Vedder, Glen Hansard, Kelly Jones, and Simon Townshend also joined them. They all sang together to help raise money for a group that helps teenagers with cancer, called the Teenage Cancer Trust.
This big performance was the last song of a series of concerts called Ovation. It was also the last time Roger Daltrey would be in charge of these charity shows. Everyone worked together to make it a fun night for a good cause.
Before singing, Robert Plant said some nice things about Roger Daltrey. He told a story about being 16 years old in 1965 and watching Roger perform. Robert thought Roger was amazing, like a superhero on stage. He said they’ve been friends for a long time and have met many times over the years. Robert even joked about eating Roger’s sandwiches once when they were at another event together. He was happy to be there to support Roger and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
You can watch Robert Plant singing with Roger Daltrey and the others online. Earlier that night, Robert also performed with a group called Saving Grace. It was a big, happy night full of music and kindness!
