On Monday night, April 1, Nashville threw a big party for Loretta Lynn, a famous country music star, to celebrate her upcoming 87th birthday. The party was a huge concert at Bridgestone Arena, and lots of music stars came to sing for her. One special moment made Loretta’s birthday wish come true when Keith Urban popped out of a giant cake!
The concert had many singers like Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, George Strait, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Alan Jackson, Kacey Musgraves, and more. They all performed to honor Loretta’s amazing music career. During the show, a big cake was rolled onto the stage while singer Cam led everyone in singing “Happy Birthday” to Loretta. Right after the song, Keith Urban jumped out of the cake, waving his arms with a big smile, and helped finish the song. The crowd cheered loudly!
Loretta was so happy. She said, “This is my first-ever birthday party!” Back in January, she had told everyone her birthday wish was for Keith Urban to jump out of her cake, and it really happened. Keith later shared a sweet birthday message for her on social media.
Loretta will turn 87 on April 14. She’s been getting stronger after being sick a few years ago. She told a magazine, “I won’t let anything stop me. I keep going!” The night was full of love and music, and Loretta’s big smile showed how much it meant to her.
