Male escort Daniel Phillip took to the stand at the trial of Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs. While speaking, he brought up the use of baby oil during his testimony while discussing his alleged experience of Combs and his ex-wife, Cassie Ventura.
The series of encounters occurred between 2012 to 2014, according to Phillip. He claims to have been paid between $700 and $6,000 multiple times to have sex and rub baby oil into Ventura, as Combs watched and masturbated in the same room.
While working as the manager of a male revue show in Manhattan around 2012, he was invited to the Gramercy Park Hotel for a bachelorette party. Phillip believed he would be entertaining a group of women with a strip tease, but opened the door to discover Ventura, who asked if he would engage solely with her.
Phillip then proceeded to rub baby oil into Ventura and massage her while Combs sat in the corner of the room while masturbating. Due to Combs covering his face with a bandana, Phillip didn’t know his identity until he later spoke.
On this first encounter, Phillip was handed thousands of dollars by Ventura upon meeting. She also gave him thousands more to return to the room later, where they proceeded to have sex and rub bay oil on one another.
“He was always sitting in the corner masturbating,” Phillip told the court of Combs, although he also said they would occasionally swap places and the rapper would have sex with Ventura.
Phillip also alleges that Combs videotaped his sexual liaisons with Ventura once or twice. Additionally, he told the court that Combs had photographed his drivers license which he told Phillip was “just for insurance” but he claims, “He was threatening me”.
On one occasion, he alleges Combs got violent with Ventura when she was on a computer and didn’t respond to him. Phillip says Combs threw a bottle of liquor at Ventura before taking her to another room where he claims to have heard the music mogul smack her and say, “Bitch, when I tell you to come here, you come here now, not later.”
When asked by prosecutor Maurene Comey why he didn’t report the incident to the police, Phillip replied, “My thought was that this was someone with unlimited power and chances are even if I did go to the police, that I might still end up losing my life.”
On another occasion, Phillip claimed he heard Combs smack Ventura again and said, “I tried to explain to her that she was in real danger if she stayed with him”.
The trial is set to continue on May 13th with Ventura expected to take to the stand to give evidence.
Combs is charged with five counts of sex trafficking, racketeering, and sexual abuse. He has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.
