Country superstar Carrie Underwood took her Denim & Rhinestones Tour to the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, March 1.

Another huge surprise was when Brad Paisley walked out to join Underwood on stage! The crowd went absolutely wild for the reunion. Of course, Paisley and Underwood hosted the CMA Awards together for 11 years. Over the course of those many years hosting together, they sang countless parody songs during the monologue, which was one of the best parts of them teaming up together!
During her Nashville tour stope, Paisley came out and the two reflected on the 11 glorious years they hosted the CMA Awards together, and of course they did so in a parody song to the tune of Paisley’s song “I’m Still A Guy.”
They traded off the following lyrics:
“No, this ain’t an awards show / But here we are, me and you.”
“Tonight, it ain’t about who’s gonna win, and who’s gonna lose.”
“But if it was, we’d both be winners, just a’singin’ and a’playin’.”
“’Cause you’re funnier than Luke!”
“And you’re prettier than Peyton!”
By the end of the song, they dubbed themselves “Paisleywood” before hugging it out.
Following their parody, Underwood said, “Okay we’re gonna sing a real song for you guys,” before diving in to their 2011 hit song “Remind Me.”
