AGT Fans Beg Simon Cowell to Sign Jourdan Blues After Street Performer Shines in Season 20 Finale

Jourdan Blue’s journey on America’s Got Talent 2025 has been nothing short of remarkable. From earning Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer in the auditions to battling food poisoning during the Quarterfinals, the 20-year-old street performer turned national sensation has captured America’s heart.

Blue started his AGT run with a powerful rendition of “Breakeven” by The Script, which brought the judges to their feet and Mandel straight to the buzzer.

Despite a terrifying health scare in the Quarterfinals—where he was reportedly throwing up just minutes before going on stage—he delivered a stunning version of Calum Scott’s “Biblical” that carried him through to the Semifinals. There, his performance of Myles Smith’s “Stargazing” cemented his spot in the finale.

In the Season 20 Finals, Blue promised to show a different side of himself. He took a risk with “Golden” from K-Pop Demon Hunters, a song currently dominating global charts. His soulful, emotional twist on the track had the judges raving. Howie Mandel called it the “hottest song in the world” and said Blue “just won the show.” Simon Cowell praised the moment as the performance they had all been waiting for.

But despite the praise, Blue fell short of the title, finishing in third place. The result shocked many fans who believed he had the season locked down.

One viewer commented, “Bro I think if you sung this song in the finale like this you may have won!” while another wrote, “Jourdan ain’t no singer, he’s THE SOUL SINGER of this generation.” Others were more direct, with one fan posting, “Why Jourdan eliminated? He’s the best!!!!”

“Jourdan needs a record deal immediately. Simon, make it happen!”

“He’s already a star. Simon, the ball is in your court.”

“This man’s voice is healing. Please, Simon, give him the platform he deserves.”

Even Simon Cowell’s on-air praise—saying Blue had just “won the show”—sparked an outpouring of fan pleas for him to sign Blue immediately to a record deal.

Though he didn’t walk away with the million-dollar prize, Blue’s finale performance may have given him something even bigger: a platform and an audience begging for more. As one fan summed it up, “God, he so deserves everything that is going to come his way after this show. His voice is healing.”

Whether or not Simon takes action, it’s clear that Jourdan Blue has already struck a chord with America and his story is just beginning.
