A magazine called Parade says Keith Urban will sing in different places like Texas, Oklahoma, and Tennessee this spring. He’s looking for new singers to perform with him. These new talents will open his shows, and the people watching will help pick who gets to keep going with Keith to the next town.
Keith is really excited about it. He told Parade, “When I was younger, I played in small, rough bars, sometimes just for the person pouring drinks. I love the idea of giving new singers a real chance to show what they can do.”
He also said, “Learning to be a singer isn’t always fun, but some things you can’t learn from a book—like how to pick the right songs, when to make a song longer or shorter, or how to get the crowd cheering. I love touring because it’s where everything happens. It’s the best way for anyone who wants to be a singer to grow.”
