When we watch someone perform at a concert, it’s amazing to see how much energy they have. They sing, dance, and entertain huge crowds, sometimes for hours! We often wonder how they keep going, especially when they get older. How do they stand up so long and still put on such a great show?
One person who keeps surprising us is Bruce Springsteen. You might know him as “The Boss.” When he was younger, he was famous for his wild, high-energy performances. And guess what? Even now that he’s older, he’s still got tons of that energy!
At a recent concert in Hanover, Germany, at the Heinz von Heiden Arena, Bruce Springsteen performed 30 songs. That’s a lot! He played some of his big hits, like “Into the Fire” and “The E Street Shuffle,” which fans love. But he also did something really special—he sang “Janey Needs a Shooter” live for the very first time. This song is old—it goes back to the 1970s—but Bruce never finished it until 2020 when he released a studio version. Another singer, Warren Zevon, had recorded it way back in 1980, but Bruce waited until 2024 to perform it himself on stage. That’s a long time to wait, and it made the moment extra exciting for his fans!
Bruce isn’t done yet. His tour is still going, and his next stop is Dyrskuepladsen in Odense, Denmark. It’s clear that The Boss still loves performing, and he’s showing everyone that age doesn’t slow him down. Do you have a favorite Bruce Springsteen song?
