Carrie Underwood Brings Her Mom Onstage for Emotional Vegas Duet

On Saturday night, Carrie Underwood made her Las Vegas concert extra special by bringing her mom, Carole, on stage. The show was part of Carrie’s REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency at Resorts World Theatre. She surprised everyone by inviting her mom to sing her hit song “All-American Girl” with her.

Carrie held her mom’s hand and said, “Come here, my love. This is my mom!” She asked Carole if she wanted to say anything to the crowd. Carole smiled and said, “I’m so happy you’re here, and I hope you enjoy the show.” The audience cheered loudly.

Carrie told the band, “My mom knows the words, so let’s start!” They began playing, and Carrie and Carole sang together. Carole even sang some parts by herself and did a great job. At one moment, she copied one of Carrie’s dance moves, making Carrie laugh and say, “I love you.”

After the song, Carrie shared pictures and a sweet message on Instagram. She wrote about how her mom helped her years ago when she wasn’t sure about trying out for American Idol. Carole had said, “If you want to go, I’ll take you.” Those words changed Carrie’s life, and now she’s a big star. Carrie was so happy to sing with her mom in front of the Las Vegas crowd.

When they finished singing, Carrie said, “Give it up for mom!” They hugged and shared a kiss before Carole left the stage. This wasn’t the first time they performed together. Back in 2019, during Carrie’s Cry Pretty Tour, Carole joined her to sing “The Champion.” After that show, Carrie posted a video and said her mom was great, even joking that Carole could rap.

This special moment happened just after Carrie released her new song, “Ghost Story,” which is part of her upcoming album. Singing with her mom made the night one to remember for everyone.
