Celine Dion Receives Standing Ovation and Dances Along in Heartwarming Surprise at Coldplay’s Las Vegas Concert

Celine Dion made a rare and emotional public appearance at Coldplay’s concert in Las Vegas on June 6, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium. The 57-year-old singer, who has been limiting her public outings due to her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome, attended the show with her three sons: René-Charles, 24, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 14.

During the performance, Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin, spotted Dion in the audience and paused the show to acknowledge her. He serenaded her with a personalized tribute, singing, “Well, Celine, my beautiful sister, you make my heart go on and on, near far, you’re a total superstar.” The crowd responded with a standing ovation, visibly moving Dion to tears.

Later in the evening, she was seen dancing and enjoying the concert, even donning blue 3D glasses for the closing song, “Feelslikeimfallinginlove.”

Dion shared her gratitude on Instagram, describing the evening as “unforgettable” and thanking Coldplay for their warmth and kindness. She expressed, “My heart is still singing!” This appearance marks one of her few public outings since her diagnosis in 2022. Prior to this, she made a notable appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony.
