Post dropped “Losers” on January 9, 2025, as the fifth and final single from his sixth studio album F-1 Trillion. The New York rapper turned country star co-wrote the song with a team of six other songwriters, and Jelly Roll appeared as a featured vocalist on the recording. Post gave some hints about the intention behind the lyrics before performing “Loser” at Coachella, reminding fans that “you’re never alone, and that there’s no one who can stop you from expressing yourself and being who you are.”
