David Gilmour and Roger Waters Reunite for Surprise Pink Floyd Performance at 2010 Hoping Foundation Charity Event

In 2010, classic rock veterans David Gilmour and Roger Waters of Pink Floyd surprised the attendees of the Hoping Foundation benefit in England with a gorgeous 4-song set that featured an acoustic rendition of the iconic ‘Wish You Were Here’. The duo, famously known for their legendary falling out that resulted in two factions of Pink Floyd, were absolutely electric as they performed this classic.

Even after all these years and all of the fighting they’ve done, it’s clear that Waters and Gilmour are still a force to be reckoned with when they put their issues aside in the name of music!

The surprise 2010 set marks the first time Waters and Gilmour have shared the stage since Pink Floyd’s reunion performance at 2005’s Live 8 in London.

Roger Waters and David Gilmour are magical when they appear together onstage! This performance of ‘Wish You Were Here’ is one of our favorites both for the element of surprise and the intimate venue – they performed in a nightclub, of all places! For a brief moment, we get to see shades of Pink Floyd as we knew them 40 years ago for what makes for an incredible performance that you won’t want to miss!
