Drake has surprised fans again — this time by showing unexpected love to a little-known podcast called “TANKSGODPOD.”
The rap superstar recently posted clips from the podcast on his burner Instagram account @plottttwistttttt, calling it “the only pod that matters.” He even begged to be a guest, writing: “PL$$$ INVITE ME ON THE ONLY POD THAT MATTERS.”
The podcast itself, TANKSGODPOD, is hosted by two young women: Luda Podgorna, an Eastern European fashion model, and Elena De Napoli, an Italian co-host. The show has just over 100 followers on Instagram and almost no online presence. It’s also not available on Spotify or other major streaming platforms.
Drake also posted a solo photo of Podgorna on his burner account without any caption, further fueling curiosity.
Fans were left confused by the rapper’s sudden interest in such an obscure podcast. Comments under his post ranged from “What the f–k is this” to “A white podcast of course” and “It be hard to defend u Aubrey.”
This isn’t the first time Drake’s podcast choices have raised eyebrows. In 2023, he appeared on Bobbi Althoff’s viral podcast, a move that also stirred controversy.
His latest support for TANKSGODPOD has some critics suggesting it aligns with Joe Budden’s past comments about Drake pandering to younger women. Budden criticized Drake last year on his own podcast, saying:
“You’re 37 years old… why are you still f–king with 25-year-olds? You’re a billionaire. Rap like an adult.”
Budden even compared Drake’s career path to J. Cole, saying Cole matured in his music, while Drake hasn’t followed the same direction.
Drake later clapped back at Budden in a private voice note, which Budden read aloud on his show. In it, Drake fired back:
“Keep it music. Don’t talk about my life or the girls I date. That shit feels malicious to me.”
So far, it’s still unclear what Drake’s real connection to TANKSGODPOD is — or if he’ll actually appear on the show. But knowing Drizzy, there’s always more than meets the eye.
