Eminem recently opened his “Mom’s Spaghetti” restaurant in downtown Detroit, a dream project inspired by the iconic scene in his movie 8 Mile. To everyone’s surprise, Slim Shady made a special appearance at the grand opening and even served spaghetti to a few lucky fans.
Following the event, actress Kim Basinger, who played Eminem’s mother, Stephanie Smith, in 8 Mile, sent a sweet message via Instagram. She wrote:
“Dear Rabbit, I hope you’re behaving yourself. You better get that spaghetti recipe right… It took me a long time to perfect it! Love, Mom 💖”
Kim’s message paid homage to their on-screen relationship and added a nostalgic touch to the special moment.
