Jamie Foxx, a super talented actor and singer, recently performed at a special TV event on CBS called the “George Strait Special” to celebrate the famous country singer George Strait. Jamie grew up in a tiny town in Texas and told a fun story about how, as a kid, he tried to sneak into a concert where George was singing. He really wanted to see his hero!
Jamie said he was a huge fan of George, even though he couldn’t get into that show back then. For years, he told everyone that the “King of Country Music” had come to his little town. Two years ago, Jamie finally met George, and they laughed about that old memory together.
Jamie also shared something cool: he said George’s music is so great that everyone can enjoy it, no matter what they look like. This made George smile and turn a little red! Then, Jamie started singing one of George’s famous songs, “You Look So Good In Love.” His voice was full of energy and soul, and he made the song sound brand new.
The crowd loved it! Jamie’s version was different from George’s, but it was so good that everyone stood up and clapped loudly when he finished. You can watch his amazing performance below.
