Country music has always been a staple in the United States but in recent years, it is gaining popularity quickly. It isn’t just the old country music singers who are running the show any longer but new talent, sometimes with amazing abilities is showing up.
We see the talent that is behind country music in many ways, but it is the amazing live performances that truly show the abilities of these individuals. We saw it at the 2024 CMA Awards, when a surprise performance took place and nobody could have expected it.
Jelly Roll is not only known for his country music, he is known for putting so much emotion in his songs that they pour out of every word and note. He was on stage at the awards when Keith Urban joined him.
It was a surprise performance and the two of them were going to sing ‘Liar’ together. It was a last-minute decision that was announced only hours before the show started and fans were absolutely thrilled to be there when the lights came on.
At first, the crowd at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville was relatively quiet when they were on the stage together. Suddenly, the applause was deafening.
You could tell that there was a true connection and energy that was flowing from these two powerful singers. They each have their own style but when they came together, it produced something that was beyond the sum of both of them.
