Kendrick Lamar has been called out by one of the rappers he collaborated with on his recent album. K. Dot released his GNX project in November, featuring an appearance from Los Angeles rapper Dody6 on ‘Hey Now’.

The song, produced by Mustard, Sounwave and Jack Antonoff, peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100, with Dody6 appearing in the final verse. He raps, “Who the fuck I feel like? I feel like Joker/ Harley Quinn up in the cut with a blower.”

However, Dody6 allegedly hasn’t reaped the benefits of the collaboration. On April 21st, he took to social media to claim he was homeless and that ‘Hey Now‘ wasn’t helping him financially.

“N*gga, I lost my house. I’m homeless,” he said in a video. “On Crip, I admit that shit. I fell down. I’ma bounce back up though, watch this. It’s all good, cuh.”

He continued, “N*gga, that fucking song with Kendrick ain’t change shit. What the fuck does that change, n*gga? I’m still from 40s. I’m still over here. You act like a n*gga got a million dollars for that shit. The fuck? Only thing a n*gga got is some clout and fuck clout!”

Hip-hop personality Adam22 then shared text messages he received from Dody6, telling him, “Post that shit now. Why you not answering?”

When Adam told him he was busy and to let him know what to post, Dody said, “Bro post I’m on meth. Idgaf. Post Dody is on meth and say k dot is a bitch ain’t tapping in.”

As well as Dody6, GNX featured other local rappers such as Lefty Gunplay, Wallie the Sensei, Siete7x, AzChike, Hitta J3, YoungThreat and Peysoh.
