Kendrick Lamar REACTS To Eminem’s ‘Smack You’ (Suge Knight Diss Track) After Hearing It For the First Time

Eminem-Kendrick Lamar

The internet is buzzing after Kendrick Lamar publicly reacted to an unreleased Eminem diss track titled “Smack You”, aimed directly at Suge Knight and Ja Rule. The track recently surfaced online and is believed to have been recorded during the height of 50 Cent’s infamous feud with Ja Rule—an era when tensions in the hip-hop world were at an all-time high.

On the track, Eminem doesn’t hold back. In a blistering set of verses, he lays blame for the deaths of both Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. squarely at Suge Knight’s feet:

“I’m holding Suge responsible for the loss of the two greatest rappers to ever grace the face of this planet… If only the late, great Mr. Christopher Wallace could talk, he could tell you himself.”

He even goes further, taking aim at anyone affiliated with Death Row Records:

“I’m holding Suge responsible for Ja Rule or anyone else down with the Row.”

The track’s producer, Fredwreck, was furious about the leak. He took to Twitter, issuing a chilling warning:

“To the criminal who’s leaking Eminem music—we will find you. Street law will be applied. Ask Paulo what happened last time he leaked. We know where he lives. And yes—this is a threat.”

But what really lit up social media was Kendrick Lamar’s unexpected reaction. The Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper chimed in under an Instagram snippet of the track, commenting:

“Imagine all the tracks that haven’t surfaced that are as good as this.”

Fans were thrilled to see Kendrick show love for Eminem. The two have shared mutual respect since their 2013 collaboration “Love Game”, during which Eminem famously tested Kendrick’s lyrical abilities by clearing the studio and watching him write his verse solo. Kendrick passed with flying colors, earning Em’s lasting respect.

Fans flooded the comments with excitement:

“Kendrick and Eminem are two of the greatest rappers. They truly appreciate each other’s art. I’d love to see another collab—or even a whole album.”

Another fan offered a more critical view of the leak:

“Usually the best songs are the leaked ones. This was okay, but if it’s his best, I’d prefer the funnier Slim Shady stuff. At least there’s humor in those.”

Comment Debate:
👉 Do you think Kendrick Lamar could write a better diss track than Eminem? Or does Eminem still wear the crown when it comes to lyrical warfare?
