Mick Jagger, 80, sports a bejewelled yellow jacket as he puts on an energetic display on stage at The Rolling Stones’ Hackney Diamonds show in Vancouver

Mick Jagger was full of energy at The Rolling Stones’ concert in Vancouver on Friday. The famous rock band is traveling around for their Hackney Diamonds Tour, and Mick, who is 80 years old, showed he’s still got it! He danced and moved around the stage like he was young, wearing a shiny yellow jacket covered in jewels that made him stand out.

The concert was at BC Place stadium, and Mick raised his arms high to get the crowd excited. He performed with his bandmates Ronnie Wood, who is 77, and Keith Richards, who is also 80. Together, they played some of the band’s most famous songs, and the fans loved it.

Mick added a cool yellow, white, and black leather jacket over his sparkly one during the show. Ronnie wore a purple jacket, and Keith had on his usual aquamarine headband with a silky navy shirt. They all looked like true rock stars.

Just a few days before, the band played in Chicago, where Mick wore a maroon leather jacket and a shiny top. Keith and Ronnie rocked the stage with him there too, making it a fun night at Soldier Field.

Mick has said it’s still hard for him to perform without Charlie Watts, the band’s drummer who passed away in 2021 at age 80 after heart surgery. Charlie had been with the band since 1963, and Mick misses him a lot. Now, Steve Jordan plays the drums, but Mick says it’s not the same without his old friend.

Even though it’s tough, Mick loves making music and wants to keep going. Keith agrees and says the band wanted to keep playing after Charlie’s death to show what The Rolling Stones are like now. The group has been performing for over 60 years!

At the Vancouver show, Mick was super lively, taking off his jacket and spinning around on stage. The band’s next stops are Los Angeles on July 10 and Santa Clara on July 17. Fans can’t wait to see more of their amazing shows!
