Eminem’s rapid-fire anthem “Rap God” just passed 1.5 billion views, confirming its status as one of his biggest visuals.

Released in 2013 on “The Marshall Mathers LP 2”, “Rap God” was instantly recognised for its high-octane flow and lyrical complexity. Packed with dense wordplay, cultural references, and blink-and-you’ll-miss-it internal rhymes, the track showcases Eminem at his most technically impressive. It is not just a flex — it is a full-blown demonstration of endurance, speed, and sharp craftsmanship.

But beneath the bravado, “Rap God” also explores the pressure of staying relevant in a competitive landscape. Eminem addresses insecurity and the weight of expectation, balancing confidence with introspection. The video’s surreal visuals only amplify the intensity, blending sci-fi elements with nods to classic hip hop imagery.

While it ranks as Eminem’s 11th most streamed track on Spotify — crossing 1 billion streams in 2023 — “Rap God” stands taller on YouTube. Being Em’s fourth most viewed music video, it passed the 1 billion mark back in 2020. In December 2024, it made history again by becoming the first solo rap music video to earn over 20 million likes.

Now, with over 1.5 billion views, “Rap God” continues its legacy as a benchmark for lyrical mastery and visual innovation.
