Rihanna is pregnant with baby number three! The singer and Fenty Beauty founder announced her third pregnancy at the 2025 Met Gala, where her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, was a co-chair at.
Now that the hubbub around Rihanna’s pregnancy announcement has calmed down, fans, of course, are onto their next question: When is Rihanna’s due date? Well, if history repeats itself, Rihanna could be giving birth to her next child sooner than you think.
When is Rihanna’s due date for her third baby?
While Rihanna hasn’t confirmed her due date for her third baby, both of Rihanna’s children were born in the spring and summer, so it’s possible that her next kid will also be a warm-weather baby. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s first child, son RZA, was born on May 13, 2022, while their second kid, son Riot Rose, was born on August 3, 2023.
That said, Rihanna could have a fall baby if the timeline is the same as her announcement for Riot Rose. Rihanna announced her pregnancy with Riot Rose at the Super Bowl LVII on February 12, 2023. He was born around six months later. If Rihanna is around the same time in her pregnancy at the Met Gala as she was at the Super Bowl, it’s possible that her third child won’t be born until November 2025.
What’s Rihanna’s third baby’s sex?
Though Rihanna hasn’t revealed the sex of her third baby, she told Interview magazine in 2024 that she wanted “as many [kids] as God” wanted her to have. She also told the magazine at the time that she always planned to have a third child to try for a girl. “As many as God wants me to have,” she said. “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
Rihanna also opened up to the magazine about how she plans to get back to her pre-pregnancy body. “I don’t want implants. I just want a lift,” she said. “I heard that you might have some scars. I’m OK with all that. But I don’t want to ever have a tummy tuck because I don’t want a new navel, and I don’t want that scar, right?”
She continued, “Third-trimester cellulite is no joke. You just see ripples coming from places you never knew, and it’s all in your thighs, because your thighs are carrying the weight of your baby and uterus. I’m also scared of the knife. So if I had to pick one thing, I’m going to pick my boobs. Because I can, like, squat and get an ass, hopefully.”
While Rihanna has discussed very little about her children, she did reveal to the magazine that RZA’s first word was “hey.” “I used to try to get his attention all the time, and I would say, ‘Hey, hey, hey.’ And one day he said it back to me in the same melody, and I kept singing it and he kept following it over and over again,” she said before confessing the songs she and her firstborn sing together.
“Oh my gosh. There’s ‘Penguins Salute.’ There’s ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.’ Oh my gosh. RZA gets really emotional about that,” she said. “Now he’s really into ‘Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.”
She continued, “‘The Wheels on the Bus’ is a favorite from the beginning till now. That’s just a classic. It’s never going out of style. And oh, the new ‘Incy-Wincy Spider,’ because he gets like, ‘Ahh,’ like he thinks I’m going to tickle him when I sing that one. And he has a book about that, so he can put two and two together.”
