Rod Stewart’s fans got super excited when his wife, Penny Lancaster, appeared in his new music video. Rod, a famous British singer, shared a sneak peek of his latest song, “Pennies From Heaven,” from his new album called Swing Fever. He posted the video on Instagram and wrote, “Happy Valentine’s Day! We’re sharing the love with ‘Pennies From Heaven,’ the third song from our new album Swing Fever. Check out the new music video—it even stars Penny!”
In the video, Penny dances happily while Rod sings. A well-known musician, Jools Holland, plays the piano in the background. Rod has 1.4 million followers on Instagram, and lots of them loved the sweet video. One fan wrote, “Great song and video, happy Valentine’s Day Rod!” Another said, “Penny, you were the best part—Rod, you’re still so cool!” Someone else commented, “Happy Valentine’s Day to an awesome couple, Rod and Penny,” while another added, “Amazing song, and Penny looked awesome dancing.”
Rod and Penny have been married for over 20 years and have two sons, Aiden and Alistair. They often share pictures of their boys on Instagram. Last month, Penny went back to her job on a TV show called Loose Women after taking a four-month break. She used to be on the show all the time but stepped away in August. Penny, who is 52, first joined Loose Women in 2014. Some people thought she had left for good, but a source said she’d come back sometimes as a guest.
When Penny returned to the show, the host, Christine Lampard, welcomed her warmly. They talked about Penny’s recent travels with Rod, who is finishing his Las Vegas concerts this summer. Penny also told everyone about her job as a special police constable. She was really proud to work during King Charles’s Coronation last year. According to a newspaper called The Sun, Penny had to take a break from Loose Women because she was busy touring with Rod and had other big commitments.
