Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs caught reading the Bible during his trial

During the Jury selection for his trial, rapper Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs was seen reading from the bible, multiple reports have said.

Combs is charged with five counts of sex trafficking, racketeering, and sexual abuse. He has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges. If he is found guilty, the Bad Boy Records founder could serve the rest of his life in prison.

Combs reportedly read from the Bible before opening statements. TMZ reported also that the music mogul “hardly moved as the prosecution addressed the jury” and had a “blank stare.”

On May 13th, Cassie Ventura began her testimony during the trial, delving into the violent nature of their relationship and the infamous ‘freak-offs’. Her testimony resumes on May 14th and largely delves into hotel surveillance footage of Combs’s 2016 assault on Ventura and its aftermath. assie’s testimony is expected to continue for several days.

Ventura, who is eight-and-a-half months pregnant, also discussed the violent nature of their relationship: “There were violent arguments that would usually result in some sort of physical abuse. Dragging, different things of that nature.”

Previously, on May 12th, the rapper’s three daughters were seen to leave the court early and in tears, after hearing the graphic testimony of a male escort giving evidence.

Combs has pleaded not guilty in the case and denies all the charges against him, with his defence lawyer arguing in her opening statement that the rapper admits to being a violent domestic abuser with a “bad temper,” but that this does not amount to the sex trafficking he is accused of.
