Sir Rod Stewart, 80, and his son Alastair, 19, are in high spirits as they sing and snap selfies at Celtic vs Young Boys in Glasgow

On Wednesday night, Sir Rod Stewart and his son Alastair had a fantastic time watching a soccer game. They were at Celtic Park in Glasgow, cheering for Rod’s favorite team, Celtic, as they played against Young Boys in a big tournament called the Champions League. Celtic won the game 1-0, which made Rod and Alastair super happy. They sang songs and took fun selfies with the crowd, smiling and enjoying every moment.

Rod, who is 79 years old, is a famous singer known for songs like “Maggie May.” At the game, he wore a cool leather jacket with fur on it, a white shirt, a black tie, and a fancy blazer. He always likes to dress in a bold, stylish way. Alastair, who is 19, looked nice too, wearing a beige jacket, a white shirt, black pants, and a striped tie. They both looked excited to be there together.

Rod has eight children, and Alastair is one of them. He also has a younger son named Aiden, who is 14, with his wife, Penny Lancaster. Rod and Penny got married in 2007. Recently, Rod shared a picture on Instagram of his big family, all wearing Celtic soccer shirts. It was a special moment because Rod was celebrating his upcoming 80th birthday, which happened on January 10. In the photo, everyone was smiling and standing together on some steps.

In the family picture, Rod wore a green and white Celtic shirt, which is the team’s colors, and had his spiky blond hair as usual. He tucked a pair of red glasses into his shirt collar and carried a small bag. Penny was there too, wearing a Celtic shirt, white shorts, and a white cap. Rod’s son Sean, who is 44, joined them, showing off his tattoos and wearing a green and blue kilt with a Celtic scarf. Sean’s new girlfriend, Julia, was also in the photo, wearing a black top.

Rod’s other kids were in the picture too. Alastair and Aiden stood close to their dad. Rod’s son Liam, who is 30 and plays ice hockey, was there with his wife, Nicole, who he married last year. Rod’s daughters, Renee, who is 32, and Ruby, who is 37, wore Celtic shirts too. Ruby added bright yellow shorts to her outfit. Renee’s boyfriend, Adam, and Ruby’s fiancé, Jake, were also part of the happy group.

Rod loves his family and his soccer team, and he’s not afraid to show it. Even though he turned 80, he’s still full of energy and enjoys spending time with his kids and cheering for Celtic. Moments like watching the game with Alastair or taking a family photo in Celtic shirts show how much joy Rod finds in life, music, and the people he loves.
