Travis Tritt Passed His Love Of Music Down To His Kids

Country music star Travis Tritt and his wife Theresa got married and soon started a family. One year later, they had their first baby, a girl named Tyler Reese. The next year, they welcomed a boy named Tristan James. A few years later, in 2003, their youngest son, Tarian Nathaniel, was born.

With a dad who’s a famous singer, it’s no surprise that Travis’s kids grew up loving music. All three—Tyler, Tristan, and Tarian—caught the music bug! But Tyler, the oldest, showed a special talent for singing from a young age, just like her dad.

Tyler has joined Travis on stage a few times, showing everyone she’s got his musical gift. They even recorded a song together, and it turned out amazing!

In 2013, when Tyler was just 14, she and her dad sang a duet called “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough,” originally by Patty Smyth and Don Henley. Tyler sang with so much heart, sounding just as good as her dad. They sang lines like, “It makes a sound like thunder, it makes me feel like rain,” and it was beautiful to hear their voices together. They’ve performed it live too, like at a special show in their hometown in 2017.

After that duet, Tyler decided she wanted to be a singer on her own. She started making her own songs, like “Perfect,” “Porch Light,” and “Texas Hold Him.” She’s even performed on stage before big stars like Sheryl Crow, Runaway June, and, of course, her dad.

Check out their sweet father-daughter duet in the video below and tell us what you think in the comments! It’s a fun way to see how music runs in the Tritt family!
