On Saturday, March 29, something exciting happened in Fishers, Indiana. Drake Milligan, a young country singer, got to perform with a big star, Blake Shelton, at the Fishers Event Center. Drake was there to sing his songs before Blake’s show started. He thought that was all he’d do that night, but Blake had a surprise for him!
After Drake finished his part, Blake called him back to the stage. He asked Drake to sing a fun song with him called “All My Ex’s Live in Texas.” This song is by another famous singer, George Strait, and lots of people love it. It’s an older song from 1987, but it’s still super popular at country music concerts.
Drake and Blake stood side by side, smiling big. Blake put his arm around Drake and told the crowd to sing along. They sang the song’s catchy chorus together: “All my exes live in Texas, and Texas is a place I’d dearly love to be. But all my exes live in Texas, and that’s why I hang my hat in Tennessee.” Drake’s deep voice sounded great, and the whole room was filled with happy energy.
Later, Drake shared how much this moment meant to him. He posted online, saying, “I opened for Blake Shelton this weekend and had no idea he’d ask me to come back and sing a George Strait song with him. It was so cool. Thank you, Blake!” He was so thankful for the chance to sing with someone he looks up to.

Fans loved watching Drake and Blake together. Many left kind comments online, saying they were proud of Drake and how far he’s come since he was on a TV show called America’s Got Talent. Some fans even said they wished they could’ve been there to see it in person!
This was Drake’s only show with Blake in 2025, but he has lots more concerts planned. He’s going on his own tour called the Jukebox Songs World Tour, named after his new songs like “Don’t Leave Me Loving You.” His next stop is Fort Smith, Arkansas, on April 4. He’ll also perform with other stars like Luke Bryan and Lainey Wilson later this year.
Blake just finished his own tour called Friends & Heroes with other singers like Craig Morgan and Deana Carter. Now, his fans are excited for his new album, For Recreational Use Only, coming out on May 9. It’s his first album with a new music company, and everyone can’t wait to hear it.
Drake’s special moment with Blake was like a dream come true, showing everyone that hard work and talent can lead to amazing surprises in country music!
