Barry Gibb, the last living member of the Bee Gees, has been on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show in a special way. For years, whenever Justin Timberlake appeared on Saturday Night Live, Jimmy Fallon would do a funny sketch called “The Barry Gibb Talk Show.” In this sketch, Fallon played Barry Gibb in a silly way, using a high voice and acting grumpy. Timberlake played Barry’s brother, Robin Gibb, and they would sing and joke with guests.

A Surprise Cameo

During a Christmas special of the sketch, the real Barry Gibb showed up! Even though Fallon’s version of Barry wasn’t very flattering, Barry was a good sport and joined in the fun, singing and dancing with Fallon and Timberlake. It was a happy moment for fans.

Barry’s Real Visit

On January 27, 2014, Barry Gibb visited Jimmy Fallon’s actual talk show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. They talked about the funny Saturday Night Live sketch, and Fallon said sorry for making up the part where Barry gets mad. Barry said he enjoyed being part of the joke.

Then, something cool happened! Barry and Jimmy sang songs by the Everly Brothers, like “Bye Bye Love” and “All I Have to Do Is Dream.” They sounded great together. After that, Barry performed the Bee Gees’ hit song “You Should Be Dancing” with the show’s band, The Roots. It was a super fun performance!

Barry Gibb’s visit showed he’s not only a music legend but also someone who loves to have fun and share his talent with everyone.
