Nicole Kidman has been a big support for her husband, Keith Urban, ever since they got married 12 years ago. She stood by him again when he won the Entertainer of the Year award at the 2018 Country Music Association Awards.
Nicole, a tall 51-year-old actress from Australia, couldn’t stop smiling because she was so proud of Keith, who is also 51 and a country music star. She wore a black top with feathers and a low neckline, paired with a knee-length skirt that showed off her slim legs. She added gold bracelets and earrings, and styled her hair with some of it in a ponytail and the rest falling in waves on one side of her face.
Keith kept his outfit simple with a green t-shirt, jeans, and a plaid blazer. He won the biggest award of the night, Entertainer of the Year. During his speech, he thanked his fans, his team, God, and his father who had passed away. He got emotional and even cried a little while looking at the crowd and his wife. He finished by saying, “God bless country music.” This was his second time winning this award—he also won it back in 2005.
Keith performed twice that night. First, he sang “Highway 40 Blues” with Ricky Skaggs and his band, Kentucky Thunder, after Ricky played “Black Eyed Suzie.” Later, Keith got everyone, including Nicole, dancing when he performed “Never Coming Down.”
It was a special night for Keith, and Nicole was right there cheering him on, just like she always does.
