Kane Brown and Randy Travis Share Emotional Duet of ‘Three Wooden Crosses’ in Unforgettable Surprise

Kane Brown gave his fans a big surprise at his concert in Oklahoma on Saturday, August 20. He invited a very special guest, country music legend Randy Travis, to join him on stage.

Randy Travis came out in his red wheelchair and smiled brightly as Kane sang “Three Wooden Crosses,” a famous song Randy made popular in 2002. At first, Kane stood while singing, but after the first part of the song, he wanted to be closer to Randy, who he’s looked up to for years.

“Hey, can I get a chair?” Kane asked, as seen in a video fans took of the moment. He sat down next to Randy and kept singing. The crowd cheered loudly, and Kane asked them to sing along to honor Randy, who waved happily to everyone.

This wasn’t the first time Kane picked this song to show his love for Randy. In 2021, he sang it at a big event called the CMT Artists of the Year, where Randy got a special lifetime award. And back in 2016, when Kane was just starting out, he was singing “Three Wooden Crosses” on a radio show when Randy surprised him by walking out. That made it extra special for Kane to sing it again now.

Kane has a busy summer ahead. Besides doing lots of concerts, he’s getting ready to share his new album, Different Man, with everyone on September 9.
