Kelly Osbourne has opened up about her new life in the UK after ending her relationship with Slipknot musician Sid Wilson and stepping away from Los Angeles.
The 41-year-old star revealed that she has been enjoying her return to Britain, where she is now raising her three-year-old son, Sidney. She explained that she has never really considered herself a “California girl” and feels more at home in the UK.
Kelly said one of the biggest reasons behind the move was wanting a safer environment for her son. She spoke about concerns surrounding gun violence in the US and said creating a secure and happy childhood for Sidney had become an important priority.
The move comes after an extremely difficult period in Kelly’s personal life. She lost her father, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, in 2025 and later ended her engagement to Sid Wilson in 2026 after the couple had been together for several years. They share their young son.
Despite the upheaval, Kelly appears to be embracing a fresh chapter. She has been spending more time in the countryside and focusing on motherhood, while her brother Jack Osbourne recently said that she is now in a “happier place.”
Kelly’s return to Britain also has a particularly personal connection for her son. Sidney is attending the same preschool in Buckinghamshire that Kelly attended when she was young, giving the move an emotional link to her own childhood.
Her decision to leave Los Angeles does not necessarily mean she has completely cut ties with the city. Her former Los Feliz property has remained part of her US life, although she has previously put the home on the market.
For Kelly, however, the biggest priority appears to be creating stability after a turbulent year. Rather than remaining surrounded by the pressures of Los Angeles and the fallout from her breakup, she is choosing a quieter life in Britain with her son.
After so much personal upheaval, Kelly’s latest update suggests that she is finally beginning to find a sense of peace — and building a new life on her own terms.
