Robert Plant Performs “The May Queen” on BBC’s The One Show
Legendary singer Robert Plant appeared on The One Show on BBC television on October 11, where he performed “The May Queen” from his upcoming solo album Carry Fire.
Plant’s incredible performance on the show has been uploaded to YouTube for fans to enjoy.
During his appearance, Plant also sat down for an interview about his new album. He was joined on the show by former cricket player Andrew Flintoff. But the biggest surprise came when The One Show played a special interview with members of Plant’s local football team in Kidderminster, who shared their thoughts on his football skills.
Fans also got a behind-the-scenes look at Plant’s day. Earlier on October 11, he and his band held a soundcheck outside the BBC, and lucky passersby captured the moment in photos and videos. Plant’s official Twitter account even shared a photo from the soundcheck.
