During one of Miranda Lambert’s concerts in Las Vegas, something surprising happened. While she was singing her song “Tin Man,” she noticed a fan taking a selfie. Miranda stopped singing to talk to the fan in front of everyone. She said she was a little upset because the fan was busy taking a picture instead of listening to the music. She asked the fan to enjoy the song instead.
After that moment, Miranda went on with her show. Later, she saw a fan wearing a funny t-shirt that said, “Shoot tequila, not selfies,” and she laughed about it. Some people thought Miranda was right to ask the fan to focus on the music, but others felt she shouldn’t have called the fan out in front of everyone.
The fan, named Adela Calin, explained that she only took the picture for about 30 seconds before sitting back down. She said she felt embarrassed, like when a teacher scolds you in class. Even though some people didn’t agree with what Miranda did, she didn’t say she was sorry.
This moment at the concert got a lot of people talking about how to enjoy live music and respect the performers on stage.
