Paul McCartney Responds to Brooklyn Fan Adrienne’s 1963 Love Letter After 61 Years

Paul McCartney, one of the famous Beatles, just made a fan’s dream come true—61 years after she sent him a sweet message. Back in 1963, a girl named Adrienne from Brooklyn was on TV talking about how much she loved The Beatles. She said, “I love The Beatles and I’ll always love them! Even when I’m 105 and an old grandmother, I’ll love them. And Paul McCartney, if you are listening, Adrienne from Brooklyn loves you with all her heart!” That was before The Beatles came to the United States for the first time.

Now, all these years later, Paul saw her message and replied! He made a video on Instagram that started with Adrienne’s old TV clip. In the video, he said, “Hey Adrienne, it’s Paul. I saw your video. I’m in Brooklyn now, in New York. We’ve got a photo exhibition here. Come see it!” He also wrote, “And Adrienne from Brooklyn, if you are listening, Paul McCartney from Liverpool loves you too.” How cool is that?

The photo exhibition is called “Paul McCartney Photographs 1963-64: Eyes of the Storm,” and it’s at the Brooklyn Museum until August 18. It shows pictures Paul took when The Beatles were becoming super famous.

In other news, there’s an old Beatles movie called “Let It Be” that came out 54 years ago. It shows the band making their last album in 1969. The movie was hard to find for a long time, but now it’s been fixed up with new technology by a filmmaker named Peter Jackson. It looks clear and brand new!

Paul has more exciting things happening too. He loved Beyoncé’s version of his song “Blackbird,” which she put on her new album “Cowboy Carter.” He said, “I am so happy with Beyoncé’s version of my song ‘Blackbird.’ I think she does a magnificent job, and it reminds people of the civil rights message that made me write it. Check it out—you’ll love it!”

Plus, Paul is finally releasing a live album called “One Hand Clapping” that he made with his band Wings in 1974. They recorded it at Abbey Road Studios for a documentary, but it never came out officially until now. It’ll be available on June 14, and fans are really excited!

Paul McCartney is still sharing his music and love with the world, and even after all these years, he’s making fans like Adrienne smile.
