Michael Bublé and Laura Pausini’s Romantic Live Duet
A playful introduction, two powerhouse voices and a timeless love song came together when Michael Bublé and Laura Pausini shared the stage at Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theatre in 2005.
The performance, which has since attracted more than 45 million views on YouTube, began with Bublé doing what he does so well: entertaining the crowd before the music even started.
As he interacted with the audience, Bublé jokingly warned one particularly enthusiastic fan, “Mother, if you come and drink and scream at the shows anymore…” The moment became even funnier when an audience member used a towel to wipe the sweat from his face — and then wiped the same towel across her own face, prompting laughter from the crowd.
Bublé continued the comedy by pretending to be a Western gunslinger, dramatically pulling two microphones from his pockets before introducing his special guest.

“This is exciting for me,” Bublé told the audience. He then praised Pausini as “a huge international star,” joking that she had sold “millions and millions and zillions” of records.
After building up the Italian singer’s enormous success, Bublé delivered the punchline with a mock-pained expression: “…way more than I have.”
The two performers then walked onto the stage arm in arm and began their rendition of “You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine.”
What followed was a striking contrast to the playful opening.
Bublé and Pausini settled into the romantic song with ease, trading lines and frequently looking into each other’s eyes as they sang. Their chemistry gave the performance an intimate quality, while their distinct vocal styles blended naturally on the classic love song.
When the final notes ended, the audience erupted in applause as the two singers stood together, holding hands and taking in the reaction.
Pausini then offered her own brief review in broken English.
“That rock!” she said before pointing toward Bublé. “This guy rock!”
Bublé, who also has Italian heritage, immediately played along, responding in an exaggerated Italian accent: “She rock!”
The story behind the song
“You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine” was originally recorded by R&B and soul singer Lou Rawls. Released in 1976 as part of his album All Things in Time, the song became one of Rawls’ biggest hits, reaching No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
The song’s timeless appeal also made it a natural fit for Bublé, whose career has been closely associated with traditional pop and classic standards.
Influenced by legendary crooners including Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Dean Martin, Bublé helped bring that musical tradition to a new generation of listeners.

The performance with Pausini was later included on Bublé’s live album Caught in the Act. His official website confirmed that the live recording of “You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine” featuring Pausini was part of the CD/DVD release, which also captured his August 2005 performance at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.
The album went on to receive a Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards.
While the concert featured other notable guests, including Chris Botti and Josh Groban, Bublé’s duet with Pausini remains one of its most memorable moments.
