In a disturbing late-night outburst on Twitter, Ye shockingly posted about fantasizing about Taylor Swift in a threesome and claimed to have had sex with one of the Olsen twins. The now-deleted posts sparked immediate backlash, with fans, critics, and even some longtime supporters expressing disgust.
But the fallout didn’t stop there.
By this afternoon, Ye’s close associate Dave Blunts took to social media with a bold statement: “Please alert the masses,” Blunts wrote. “Ye has been banned from Twitter.”
The claim, while dramatic, isn’t fully confirmed. Kanye’s Twitter account is still publicly viewable and accessible, leading many to speculate that the “ban” may be a temporary posting suspension, shadowban, or internal content restriction rather than a full deactivation.
Still, it’s yet another example of Ye’s ongoing spiral — one marked by increasingly erratic behavior, delusions of grandeur, and a disregard for boundaries, even involving figures he’s clashed with in the past, like Taylor Swift.
This comes after months of chaotic posts in which Ye has detailed traumatic childhood experiences, commented on his former employees’ appearances, and even bizarrely compared parenting across generations.
Whether or not this alleged ban is permanent, one thing is clear: Kanye West continues to push the limits of what even his most loyal fans can excuse. And now, even Twitter — a platform that has allowed him a massive amount of leeway — might be done with the spectacle.
