Rascal Flatts enlisted the help of the Backstreet Boys to create a show-stopping moment at the 2025 ACM Awards.
After being one of country music’s top groups since debuting in 1999, Rascal Flatts went on hiatus in 2021. The trio initially announced their disbanding in 2020, with plans to go on a farewell tour that year.
However, that tour never happened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rascal Flatts officially confirmed their disbandment in 2021, and the members pursued solo projects.
Much to fans’ delight, the group announced their long-awaited reunion in 2024 and plotted a tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary this year (2025).
They also announced the upcoming release of a new album, Life Is a Highway: Refueled Duets. The record is slated to debut on June 6.
