Alice Cooper will celebrate the release of his new autobiography, “Devil on My Shoulder,” with an in-store appearance at Rock City Music Company in Livonia.
The Detroit-bred Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will appear at the guitar shop and record store at 5 p.m. Nov. 5, store officials announced on Oct. 5.
Tickets, $50.02, include a photo with Cooper and a pre-signed copy of “Devil on My Shoulder,” and are on sale now through Rock City’s website.
Cooper will not be signing any additional materials or memorabilia during the appearance, according to a note posted in the event’s description.
The appearance, which is sponsored by WRIF-FM (101.1), marks Cooper’s third event at Rock City.
“Devil on My Shoulder” is due out Oct. 6. In it, the shock rock legend, 78, talks about his life and his career, as well as his addictions.
In a recent interview with the UK’s The Telegraph, Cooper says in the early 1980s, his use of crack cocaine was so bad, it “almost killed me.”
Cooper went to rehab — twice — and has been clean since 1983.
Cooper’s upcoming fall tour includes a Nov. 6 date at The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor and a Nov. 7 date at Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo.
