Angela Lansbury’s Stunning Beauty and the Beast Performance at 91 Leaves Crowd Speechless

Angela Lansbury is a name that makes everyone smile, especially for her role as Jessica Fletcher in the TV show Murder She Wrote. She played a kind and curious writer who solved mysteries, and I bet many of you loved watching her too! That show was so much fun, and I miss it a lot.

But did you know Angela Lansbury was also in a super famous Disney movie called Beauty and the Beast? I didn’t realize this until I saw a special video, and after watching it a few times, I had to learn more. Here’s what I found out, and I’m excited to share it with you!

In Beauty and the Beast, Angela Lansbury was the voice of Mrs. Potts, the sweet and caring teapot. As soon as I heard that, it clicked—how could I forget her singing that beautiful song? Mrs. Potts is such a lovable character, and Angela made her extra special.

There’s a wonderful video from the 25th anniversary celebration of Beauty and the Beast, where Angela Lansbury performed as Mrs. Potts again. It was magical! She was joined on stage by Alan Menken, the man who wrote the movie’s music, and other actors from the film, like the voices of Belle, the Beast, and Gaston. By the way, did you know Beauty and the Beast won two big awards for its music? One was for the song “Beauty and the Beast,” and the other was for the movie’s amazing score.

I love Disney and learning about movies, so I could talk about this all day! But the best thing is to watch Angela Lansbury in this video yourself. It’s so heartwarming and fun.

You can share this video with your friends and family on Facebook to spread the joy. Also, leave a comment below to tell us what you think, and share it with anyone who loves Disney or Angela Lansbury—who I’m sure is almost everybody!
