Azealia Banks Admits Regret Over Donald Trump Vote: ‘We Made A F-cking Mess’

Azealia Banks has made a dramatic U-turn in her political stance, publicly denouncing Donald Trump just three months into his current term in office. Once a vocal supporter of the former president, Banks is now calling his leadership “an absolute disaster,” and she isn’t holding back.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) earlier this week, the Harlem rapper unloaded her frustrations in a brutally honest post. “Ok I think it’s time everyone who voted for Trump admit that we made a fucking mess,” she wrote. “Like this is an absolute disaster. He’s so petty and vindictive rn. Tbh, rightfully so, but not when the wellbeing and livelihood of billions of people – damn near the entire world – lay in your hands.”

Banks, who attended a Trump rally as recently as July 2024 and supported him since his initial 2016 election win, seems disillusioned with what she now sees as erratic, dangerous behavior. “Somebody get him a cute little lorezepam rx and a high grade ashwagandha supplement because it can’t happen like this,” she added, mocking Trump’s temperament. “Nobody on earth is afraid of crazy old white man anger.”

But Trump wasn’t the only target in her crosshairs.

Banks also reignited her feud with tech mogul Elon Musk, accusing him of being complicit in the alleged crimes of embattled music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs. When Musk tweeted, “How many people in music & entertainment knew about this?” in response to disturbing allegations involving Diddy and minors, Banks clapped back with fury: “BITCH YOU KNEW ABOUT IT DIDDY IS ONE OF YOUR INVESTORS AND U WAS CHILLIN WITH GHISLANE HO.”

The claim appears to reference reports that Diddy was one of the silent investors in Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of Twitter back in 2022. Banks also took aim at Musk’s alleged connection to Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted sex offender linked to Jeffrey Epstein.

To drive the point home, Banks posted an unsettling AI-generated image blending Musk’s face with Diddy’s, sarcastically captioning it, “This is probably a good time to buy Tesla stock.”

Neither Elon Musk nor Diddy have responded to Banks’ accusations.

Banks’ recent tirade marks a significant departure from her past views and relationships, signaling that she may finally be severing ties with some of the powerful figures she once embraced. Whether this is a one-time outburst or the beginning of a full ideological pivot remains to be seen — but one thing is clear: Azealia Banks is back in the headlines, and she’s not pulling any punches.
