The Grand Ole Opry, a super important place for country music, just turned 100 years old! To celebrate, they threw a big TV party called the Opry 100 special. It was shown on NBC on March 19 at 8 PM, and it was a night full of fun that everyone will remember.
Awesome Singers and Special Guests
The show had some of the most famous country music stars and new singers too. People like Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Eric Church, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Vince Gill, and Blake Shelton sang their hearts out. Blake Shelton also hosted the show, making sure everyone had a great time.
Other big names like Scotty McCreery, Randy Travis, Barbara Mandrell, and Bill Anderson showed up too. They helped remind everyone how special the Opry is and how it’s been a home for country music for so long.
Fancy Red Carpet Fun
Before the singing started, the stars walked down a red carpet at 6:30 PM. Fans watched on Facebook and YouTube through the Opry and WSM Radio pages. The singers wore amazing outfits, looking their very best. It was a night of cool clothes and big smiles!
