Shelton isn’t the only big name scheduled to take the stage during The Voice‘s season finale.
Kelly Clarkson, who, like Shelton, previously served as a coach on the show, is also on hand to perform “Where Have You Been.” Chance the Rapper, another former coach on the show, is slated to perform “Space and Time.” Former coach Alicia Keys is also scheduled to return, as she’ll team up with Amanda Reid to perform “The River” and “Empire State of Mind.”
Joe Jonas, who previously served as an advisor on The Voice, will perform “Heart By Heart.” Another former advisor, Sheryl Crow, is also slated to return. She’ll perform “You and Me Time” with James Bay.
Additionally, season 22 winner Bryce Leatherwood is set to perform “God Made.” Foreigner, meanwhile, will take the stage to sing “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Juke Box Hero,” and “Feels Like The First Time.”
On top of all of that, this year’s coaches will take the stage to perform duets with their finalists. Michael Bublé will sing with both Adam David and Jadyn Cree, while Kelsea Ballerini and Jaelen Johnston, Adam Levine and Lucia Flores-Wiseman, and John Legend and RENZO will perform together as well.
Blake Shelton Big Return to The Voice
Shelton’s appearance on The Voice marked the first time he returned to the show since departing in 2023. When he left the series, he did so as the winningest coach in history. Of course, that hasn’t stopped fans from pleading with Shelton to return as a series regular—something that increased tenfold during Shelton’s show-stopping performance during The Voice finale.
“@NBCTheVoice – please, please, please convince Blake to come back as a regular coach. We miss him terribly!” one fan wrote. “If you came back as a judge, I’d watch it again,” another X user added.
Throughout his tenure on the series, Shelton had a friendly rivalry with Levine. The Maroon 5 rocker had some choice words for the country star upon learning of his return.
“Boo!” Levine told E! News of Shelton’s return. “You hear me, Blake Shelton? Right now, you hear me at home? I’m not excited that you’re coming back and I don’t like you.”
