Country music star Blake Shelton made a funny video pretending to try out for The X-Factor, a singing competition show like The Voice. In the video, judge Kelly Rowland asks, “What’s your name, sweetie?” and “Where are you from?” Blake nervously answers, “Taco,” which makes everyone laugh.
Blake and the judges joke around with each other. At first, Blake feels a little upset because they are laughing at him, but he stays cheerful. Then he says, “I, Blake Shelton, will sing ‘Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now’ by Starship.” He doesn’t really sing, though—he just moves his lips to the song and acts it out with lots of energy.
The judges love his fun performance and press the buzzer to let him move to the next round. This video shows that if Blake ever stops being a country singer, he could do well on a show like The X-Factor. You can watch his silly audition tape below—it’s so funny, you’ll laugh a lot!
