Blake Shelton’s ‘Hillbilly Bone’ Opry Solo Turns Epic as Trace Adkins and Garth Brooks Crash the Stage in a Star-Studded Surprise

Trace Adkins and Blake Shelton have been buddies for a long time. Blake looks up to Trace like a wise teacher, and Trace loves giving Blake advice, almost like a dad. They’ve shared some big moments together, especially at a special place called The Grand Ole Opry, which is like a giant stage for country music stars.

Back in 2010, Trace was there when Blake joined the Opry family, and he even got to be the one to welcome him in. Then, in 2009, they made a super fun song together called “Hillbilly Bone.” People loved it so much that it became the number one country song on the charts!

Years later, in 2015, Blake was singing “Hillbilly Bone” at the Opry, and the crowd was cheering like crazy. But Blake had a secret plan. While he was singing, a deep, loud voice suddenly joined in—guess who? It was Trace! He surprised everyone by walking out on stage, and the audience went wild, clapping and yelling even louder. You can see it all in a video from that night.

Blake and Trace haven’t made a new song together lately, but Trace has been busy. He just came out with a new song called “Lit,” and it’s super exciting! It’s all about fun things that make life awesome, like a big, happy dance party in your ears. You can watch the words to “Lit” in a video and even get the song on iTunes if you like it!
