Carrie Underwood started her big Las Vegas show called Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency in 2021 at the Resorts World Theatre. For four years, she amazed lots of fans with her incredible singing and exciting performances. But now, it’s time to say goodbye. Her last show will be this Saturday, April 12. She recently posted on social media to tell everyone about her final performances and shared a cool video of her singing one of her most popular songs, “Something in the Water.”
In the video, Carrie is wearing a blue dress and standing under a fake waterfall with dancers around her. Even though she’s all wet, she still sings her 2014 hit song perfectly. You can really hear how strong and amazing her voice is. In her post, she wrote, “Come see us one last time this week.” Her next show is tomorrow, April 9, and then she’ll perform again on Friday and Saturday to finish her time in Las Vegas.
Carrie Underwood’s Big Song “Something in the Water”
Carrie wrote “Something in the Water” with her friends Chris DeStefano and Brett James for her album Greatest Hits: Decade #1. When it came out, it became super popular! It was the number one song on the country music chart for seven weeks and on the Christian music chart for 26 weeks. It also did well on other music lists and even won her a Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance.
The song is about how believing in something special, like getting baptized, can change your life in a big way. Carrie once said, “Something in the Water is so happy and uplifting! It makes me smile every time I hear it. I hope it makes everyone who listens feel the same way.”
