Eminem’s oldest daughter, Alaina Scott, just got engaged—and the moment was nothing short of magical.
Alaina, who was adopted by Eminem in the early 2000s, shared the exciting news with her followers on Instagram. In a heartfelt post, she posted photos of her fiancé, Matt Moeller, getting down on one knee at the rooftop of The Monarch Club in Detroit.
“This moment. This life ❤️ Yes a hundred times over. I LOVE YOU,” she wrote, capturing the joy of the proposal.
In the photos, Alaina, 28, is beaming as Matt pops the question. She also gave fans a close-up look at her stunning engagement ring—an elegant emerald-cut diamond set on a gold band.
The couple has been together for over seven years, and their love story is nothing short of sweet. On their most recent anniversary, Alaina wrote:
“You are my best friend, the best fur dad, and the best partner. Thank you for loving me as effortlessly as you do.”
Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, adopted Alaina from her late biological mother, Dawn Scott—who was the twin sister of Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Scott. Dawn sadly passed away from a suspected overdose in 2016.
In a 2004 Rolling Stone interview, Eminem revealed he had full custody of Alaina, describing her as part of his life since birth. He also famously mentioned both Alaina and his biological daughter Hailie in his song “Mockingbird,” where he opened up about his role as a dedicated father.
In addition to Alaina, Eminem has two more children:
-
Hailie Jade Mathers, 25, his daughter with Kim
-
Stevie Laine, 19, who identifies as non-binary and was also adopted by Eminem
Alaina’s engagement is another heartwarming milestone for a tight-knit family that’s been through it all—and fans are sending love her way.
