Hailie Jade Scott is eagerly counting down the days until she meets her baby boy! On the Feb. 28 episode of her Just a Little Shady podcast, the 29-year-old daughter of Eminem shared her excitement about becoming a mom, even joking that her son is her “dream podcast guest.”
Hailie on Motherhood: “It’s So Surreal”
“It’s so weird to think about… I can’t even wrap my head around it,” Hailie said. “I have to meet this human that I’ve created. What’s he going to look like? What’s his personality going to be like? It’s strange but super exciting.”
She also confirmed that this was the last episode of the podcast before her baby arrives, but she plans to return for Season 4 after settling into motherhood.
Keeping Her Pregnancy a Secret—Even at Her Wedding!
While Hailie and her husband, Evan McClintock, have kept most of their pregnancy journey private, they’ve shared a few special moments. In November 2024, they announced they were expecting a baby boy in a memorable podcast episode.
During that episode, Hailie revealed the baby’s gender by popping a balloon filled with blue confetti. “When we found out, Evan was like, ‘They’re going to hunt with me. They’re going to go golfing with me. I’ve got a little buddy.’”
Interestingly, Hailie even managed to hide her pregnancy at her own wedding in May 2024! Her best friend and podcast co-host, Brittany Ednie, helped by discreetly drinking for her. “Whenever people turned around, [Hailie] would hand me her drink, and I would chug so it looked like she was drinking all night,” Ednie joked.
A New Chapter Begins
Hailie first gave fans a glimpse of her pregnancy journey in October 2024, when she shared a sneak peek of the baby’s nursery. Then, on New Year’s Eve, she showed off her baby bump on Instagram, writing: “Things are going to look so different this time next year & we can’t wait 🎁.”
With her baby boy arriving soon, fans are excited to see Hailie embrace this new chapter in life! 💙
